The Ottawa Board of Trade is eager to reaffirm our strong support for Lansdowne 2.0. At this moment of transformation in our region, we must be bold in designing a city for the future. We must invest in infrastructure that signals Canada's capital is open for business, focused on innovation and primed to grow. New northside stands, a modern event centre, more money for affordable housing, and a greener, more accessible space - all at less than one-third of the cost. For every $1 invested, the city of Ottawa will get $3 back in value.

Lansdowne 2.0 is exactly that kind of project. A world class venue and downtown anchor. A catalyst for job creation, small business growth, visitor attraction, and urban vitality. This investment is an important part of our plan to create a more diverse, resilient and vibrant community. One that reflects the ambition and potential of our region.
