Ottawa Business Journal and Ottawa Board of Trade Honour Neil Malhotra of Claridge Homes as 2025 CFO of the Year

Neil Malhotra’s leadership at Claridge Homes has helped shape Ottawa’s urban landscape for more than two decades. As CFO, Neil has overseen the financial strategy behind some of the city’s most transformative developments, including large-scale housing projects and purpose-built rental communities that contribute to Ottawa’s growing skyline. 

Beyond his corporate achievements, Neil is deeply committed to community advancement. He played a pivotal role in the CHEO Foundation’s $220-million capital campaign and is actively involved in the Ottawa Senators’ LeBreton Flats redevelopment initiative — both of which reflect his dedication to building a better Ottawa. 

Neil’s recognition as CFO of the Year highlights the importance of financial leadership in driving both business success and community impact.
