Under Gorman’s visionary leadership, Colonnade BridgePort – formed in 2016 through the merger of BridgePort Realty Partners Inc. (a boutique real estate investment and services company founded by Gorman in 2008) and Colonnade Management Inc. (founded in 1985) - has grown into Ottawa’s largest privately-owned fully-integrated real estate company, currently managing a total portfolio of more than 14.5 million square feet representing over $3.0B of assets in Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada.
By driving growth through entrepreneurship and encouraging his team to embrace new ideas, Gorman has led the merged Colonnade BridgePort organization – which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year - in delivering industry-leading solutions and expanding its impact to become a leader in real estate services, property development, and capital management.
Guided by Gorman’s leadership, the company has evolved into a multifaceted organization that is building some of Ottawa’s most anticipated multi-residential developments while raising hundreds of millions of dollars to finance those projects and others through its asset and investment management business.
