Talent Roundtable with Minister Nolan Quinn
The Ottawa Board of Trade proudly hosted a special roundtable with the Honourable Nolan Quinn, Ontario’s Minister of Colleges, Universities, Research Excellence and Security, about how Ontario can produce more competitive graduates to drive innovation and economic growth. OBOT business, academia, healthcare, and research members came together at Ottawa City Hall to discuss this important and timely topic.
Key themes included:
- Stronger collaboration between post-secondary institutions and industry
- Expanding co-ops and experiential learning opportunities
- Strengthening commercialization pathways for Ontario-made innovation
We were inspired by the thoughtful dialogue and the commitment from all participants to build a stronger, more competitive talent pipeline for our region, our province, and our country. A special thank you to Minister Quinn for joining us this morning and championing partnerships that advance education, innovation, and workforce development across Ontario.
