Back to Business: Ottawa Business Events Fall Calendar Marks an Exciting Return to Live Events

September 9, 2022 – Ottawa, ON – The launch of the Ottawa Business Events Fall Calendar presented by the Ottawa Board of Trade (OBOT) and Ottawa Business Journal (OBJ) marks a full return to live business events in the National Capital Region. The upcoming season features a variety of experiences designed to engage, inform, inspire, and celebrate our local business community.

 

The fall is an important time for business, even more so this year as many “return to office” after two years of uncertainty and change. The Ottawa Business Events team is known for delivering high quality events featuring relevant content and expert speakers. This year is no exception as some of Ottawa’s top leaders take the stage including but not limited to:

In addition, signature events will celebrate key milestones including Mayor Jim Watson ending his long-time tenure as host of the very successful Mayor’s Breakfast Series and the ever-popular Best Ottawa Business Awards Gala returning for the first time since 2019.

On September 13, 2022, Amy MacLeod, MDA; Cyril Leeder, Myers Automotive Group; Sarah Chown, Metropolitan Brasserie; and Erin Benjamin, Canadian Live Music Association join the Mayor’s Breakfast for a panel discussion on priorities from Ottawa's business community for the next term of Council.

 

Talent Summit / Best Places to Work Cocktail 

The development, attraction and retention of talent is a major part of Ottawa's Economic Recovery and Rebound Strategy. Join OBOT and OBJ on October 4, 2022, for a one-day conference that will explore emerging trends, best practices from employers and how Ottawa's economic partners are supporting our business community and planning for the future.
