Nominations Open for Best Ottawa Business Awards

Ottawa, ON – August 8, 2022 – Nominations open for the Best Ottawa Business Awards as the Ottawa Board of Trade and Ottawa Business Journal once again look to honour the city’s top business stars.

 

The annual Best Ottawa Business Awards (BOBs) are presented to the region’s leading local companies, highlighting success stories across various sectors and departments. The awards spotlight the innovation, leadership, and success of businesses in Ottawa, recognizing the organizations that are leading the way in driving economic and community growth in the nation’s capital.

We are ever grateful for the determination and passion of our local leaders,” says Sueling Ching, president and CEO of the Ottawa Board of Trade.

 

These highly anticipated awards span many sectors and areas of business, representing the diversity of our economy. Organizations within the National Capital Region can submit their nominations for the following categories:

 

  • Best Business;
  • Best New Business;
  • Best Not-For-Profit;
  • Best Leader in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion;
  • Best Performance in Export;
  • Best Performance in Human Resources;
  • Best Performance in Marketing;
  • Best Performance in Sales;
  • Best Performance in Customer Experience;
  • Best Performance in Social Entrepreneurship;
  • Best Performance in Sustainability

 

Businesses can submit their nominations at: https://www.bestottawabusiness.ca. The BOBs organizing committee will select winners for: CEO of the Year; CFO of the Year; Newsmaker of the Year; Deals of the Year; Best Performance in Co-op; #NextBigThing; and the Lifetime Achievement Award.

 

The deadline for nominations is September 30, 2022. Recipients will be honoured on November 24th at the Westin Ottawa. Tickets will be available this September, with more details about the awards show to come.
